Birth and Death events which take place in areas within the jurisdiction of AMC are being registered at the respective Wards under the Birth and Death Registration Act, 1969. AMC has 64 election wards and each election ward has a separate Birth and Death Registration Unit. Apart from this, AMC also has two separate Birth and Death Units one at V.S.
